The Central Government has set a target of opening 25,000 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra (PMBJP) across the country by March 31, 2027. Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Anupriya Patel told the Lok Sabha that till June last month, 547 PMBJP centres have been opened in Primary Agricultural Credit Societies across the country.
